Our Five-Year Vision

By 2031, Xučyun could have dozens of Free Stores and community gardens, hundreds of neighborhood sharing events, thousands of residents participating in mutual aid, and a growing network of restored creeks and healthy watersheds.

A Gift Economy is not simply about giving away possessions. It is about creating a society in which people care for one another, share resources, and take collective responsibility for the land and waters that sustain them.

Our ambition is to make Xučyun a living demonstration of how a modern urban community can move toward generosity, cooperation, ecological regeneration, and shared abundance.
